Good morning! I am feeling so energized today for some reason, and haven’t even had coffee yet! Maybe it’s because instead of sleeping in, I set an alarm this morning and did an 8am Boot Camp! It was really fun, and a different trainer than I usually have so it’s fun to mix it up and check out other trainers’ styles every now and then! If you live in the Twin Cities area, check out Fit Twin Cities Rebel Bootcamp in Eagan, MN. I was a bit worried about the workout being so early initially, because I tend to do better with afternoon workouts. But I ended up having Shakeology on my way to class and a full breakfast afterwards. This was perfect because my stomach wasn’t too full to work out, but I had burned off the shake and then some by the end of class, and was hungry again. I plan to go to class every Saturday morning this month while training for my next event….
….which brings me to the main focus of my post. My next adventure is the Warrior Dash! Check out http://www.warriordash.com – it is a 5K race with 12 obstacles along the course, complete with a live band and beer at the finish line! I am SO excited for this, and getting muddy is always a blast! There are some great videos on youtube with promos for the race if you want to check it out; I tried posting a link and/or video to my blog, but can’t seem to figure it out as I am new to wordpress and blogging. Anyone able to help me?? haha I am able to put links in when I blog from my iPhone app, but not on my computer for some reason, it says “link invalid”….oh well!
Planning on looking up a new crock pot recipe to make for dinner tomorrow night. I love keeping lots of variety in my meals so I never get bored! Gotta make a grocery run, and then going hiking with my husband, our dog Bella, and her cousin Jelly (my sister-in-law’s dog). Bella is excited to spend the weekend with her cousin Talk to you all later!
